There are only a few weeks left to say goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020, and although we don't know what is going to happen to us in the future (or if the planet is really going to be destroyed soon because we prefer to make fun of Greta Thunberg to pay attention to its warnings), there is an area in which, we can predict what awaits us, the cinema.
Marvel was the first to receive 2020 with the list of films that it has prepared for the next few years (starting with Black Widow's origin story), but the other studios followed closely by releasing the trailers for the films they have prepared and that they hope they will become the best of the year.
There are many reasons to be excited for a new year, especially if you are a movie fan and you are already wondering what they are going to do to overcome the great movies that were released this year (Joker, Ad Astra, The Lion King, Toy Story 4, Avengers: Endgame, Us, Glass, Aladdin, Midsommar, Hustlers, John Wick 3, the list is very, very long).
The good news is that cinema is constantly surpassed and a good movie becomes an inspiration for the next one, and this is an area where there is always room for improvement, especially now that technology is helping to tell better stories and that the special effects are increasingly realistic (we can even resurrect the dead and go back in time to meet our favorite actors in their youth (The Irishman or Gemini Man are the best examples).
